Shanty Tubes

Have a tubing-related question? Shanty Tubes has the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • What activities do you offer?

Our offerings include river tubing and kayak rentals for water enthusiasts. We also provide a relaxing tiki bar for those who prefer to stay on land. For overnight stays, we have cozy cabin rentals suitable for two people, as well as scenic campsites available.
  • Do I need a reservation?

We strongly advise making reservations for camping sites and tiny camping rentals, particularly during weekends and holidays, to ensure availability. While walk-ins are welcome, they are subject to availability. For large group tubing on weekends and holidays, reservations are mandatory.
  • What should I bring for tubing or kayaking?

For your comfort and safety, we suggest bringing water shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses with a strap. Don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. It's also important to bring your ID and a waterproof bag to protect your valuables.
  • Can I bring my own cooler or drinks on the river?

Small coolers are permitted on the river. However, glass containers, styrofoam, and plastic containers over 5oz are not allowed. We are not bound by city and 'can ban' rules, so alcohol is permitted in moderation. We kindly ask that you drink responsibly for everyone's safety and enjoyment.
  • What happens if it rains or the river conditions are unsafe?

The safety of our guests is our highest priority. In the event of unsafe river conditions, we may need to delay or cancel trips. We continuously monitor the weather and river conditions to make informed decisions about our operations.
